Rett MacPherson

Rett MacPherson

Rett is the author of eleven Torie O’Shea books, pioneering the popular sub-genre of genealogical mysteries. In addition to writing, Rett is a bead and fabric artist, and loves all kinds of fabric, laces, buttons, and beads.  She loves to be outdoors and she likes to run, even though she’s slow and has to ice her knees afterward. In addition to reading—sometimes reading as many as fifty books a year—she also loves genealogy and is descended from a long line of English lords, Irish rascals, Scottish highlanders, Viking marauders, and French vintners and horse breeders. If time travel were possible, she’d like to visit all of her direct ancestors. She’s obsessed with British television and loves almost all music. She lives in St. Louis with her family, where she can often be found practicing yoga…unless she’s at the winery.
